The Steel Tank Institute/Steel Plate Fabricators Alliance sponsors the Safety Awards Program to acknowledge safe and healthy workplaces throughout its member companies, and to recognize the employees who have worked to make this a reality. Several safety awards were presented to TF Warren Group (TFWG) companies by the STI/SPFA during their annual meeting at Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
The awards were as follows:
- TFWG companies that received STI’s Safety Award of Excellence:
- Tarsco (Canada) - (21 months with zero recordable injuries)
- Tarsco (US) (shop & field) - (13 months with zero recordable injuries)
- Blastco - (23 months with zero recordable injuries)
- TFWG companies that received STI’s Safety Award of Achievement:
- Blastco - (31.5% reduction in TRIR)
- Blastech (Canada) - (54% reduction in TRIR)
- Brant Industrial Roll - (23.6 % reduction in TRIR)
- Total TF Warren Group - (28% reduction in TRIR)
