The unit is carbon steel that was abrasive blasted to SP10 Near-white metal to achieve a 3-4 mil anchor profile and coated with high-grade Inorganic Zinc. Tarsco recently completed an EPC project for UNO Honduras consisting of two API-650 storage tanks located in Puerto Cortes, Honduras. The first tank is a 165,000 barrel diesel tank with an aluminum geodesic dome. The second tank is a 55,000 barrel cone-roof tank with heating coils. The scope of work included concrete foundations, cathodic protection, tank design & construction, field coatings, and instrumentation for both tanks.
