Responsibilities
  • Test and report in-process/final quality control results and transfer data to control charts
  • Inspect and report on incoming raw materials
  • Ensure that product not meeting specification is quarantined and placed on hold electronically
  • Daily equipment calibration
  • Prepare work instructions for projects as needed
  • Participate in corrective action investigation teams
  • Perform setup/machine validation inspections
  • Perform disposition of product that does not meet specifications
  • Provide input and ideas for continuous improvement projects
  • Good communication skills
  • Performs random checks of finished products to determine that they function according to the standards set by the design team.
  • Examine work-pieces for defects and measure work-pieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications.
  • Help develop standard work instructions
  • Work with various departments on developing corrective actions
  • Assist with ISO Audits
  • Any additional duties as assigned by the Quality Manager

Qualifications
  • Analytic ability to develop appropriate test of products quality
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
  • Ability to prepare computerized QC reports

* Basic Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge
