As a Designer you will develop and prepare detailed drawings of designs and plans according to specifications provided by engineers.

• Essential Duties and Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:
• Working directly with design engineers to produce drawings from sketches, existing drawings and electronic images.
• Calculating tolerance stack-ups to verify design fit-up.
• Designing parts based on written and verbal descriptions from design engineers.
• Working closely with all departments to ensure that the drawings convey the correct information and are error free.
• Working from customer drawings, company drawings, government drawings or specifications.
• Developing 3D models and preparing detail drawings according to specifications provided by engineers.
• Creating 3D models using CAD software.
• Using engineering and drawing standards as guidelines.
• Performing other duties as requested or assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

• Associates Degree in design drafting
• 3-5 years of related design experience preferred
• Proficiency in CAD SolidWorks required
